Masonry Parging and Stone Foundation Repair

Do you have an old home with a stone foundation? Most of these foundations were laid with lime mortar which loses it's strength and decays over years, leaving the interior and exterior coatings falling off or flaking away.

Stone foundation repair is a fairly simple process but can be very dirty and dusty. With the removal of the old mortar there is a fair amount of labor involved. The old material must be hauled away and disposed of, most times up and out steep basement steps.

Parging stone, brick or block walls can be a messy, labor intensive process. Instead of using a lime mortar, Arment Concrete uses a mix containing portland cement, lime, sand and bonding agents. The end result is a long lasting, ascetically pleasing surface that can be placed in an assortment of colors or can be painted; leaving a clean, dry and dust free foundation surface.
